Working with metric or feet units

There are two separate settings for choosing meters or feet as the measurement units:

  • Distance units – these units affect the distances between objects, arena size, tape measure, course lengths.
  • Sizes units – these units affect the obstacle dimensions (spread, height, length).

That approach makes it possible to have distances in feet and sizes in centimeters, or any other combination practiced at your location.

These options are available as units:

  • Meters / centimeters [m/cm]
  • Feet [ft]
  • Feet [‘] – this option is the same as the previous, but has a different unit sign appended to the values

Generally, feet are represented as an integer and fraction, for example 10.25 ft, not in feet and inches. If you are accustomed to a different unit representation, please let us know using comments below, chat in the application or email, and we can add this as a new option.

Units can be changed later from the Display options dialog (default keyboard shortcut Shift-P):
