Running the application
parkour.design application is accessible at https://app.parkour.design. Open the page in your web browser and follow the instructions on the screen.
The application works entirely in a web browser and communicates with the backend cloud services for storing data (designs, configuration, custom images) and for authenticating you as a user.
The following popular web browsers should be ok for parkour.design: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari. Chrome is our primary test device, if something does not work on other browser, try it on Chrome first.
Using multiple devices
You can use as many devices and browsers as you want with one subscription. Log into the application on each device with the same account and you will have access to all your designs and preferences.
It is not desirable to work live on the same design simultaneously on more than one device. You may experience problems with overwriting changes as designs are being edited.
Using tablets and phones
It is best to use parkour.design on a desktop or laptop computer. Its user interface has been designed specifically for these devices.
The application will start and run on tablets and phones, but we don’t test and support it there. Most likely you will experience awkward user interface layouts and it will be not easy to operate it. Regardless of these inconveniences, it should be ok to use it there, if you have to.
We plan to introduce the proper tablet and phone support in the near future.
Working offline
If you have the Masters subscription plan, it is possible to use parkour.design without the access to the Internet.
Before you use it offline, open the application and log into your account while you are online. If this is the same computer and browser, which you used for creating and editing your designs, all data should already be cached locally and you don’t need to do anything extra.
If you had done your designs on a different computer or browser, you need to open the designs you plan to work with offline later, so they are cached locally by the application. You don’t need to edit them, you can close them as soon as they are opened and loaded.
Later, when you go offline, you can use that browser and computer to work with parkour.design in the same way as if you were online. Open your browser and go to https://app.parkour.design. Even without an active Internet connection, the page should open and show the list of your designs.
While being offline, you can normally create and edit designs. Once you become online again, your changes will automatically upload to our servers.
