Training Obstacles - Release 1759

Training Obstacles - Release 1759

Major features

Support for training obstacles

You can now lay out trot poles and cavaletti in your course plan. This is our first step toward support for training courses, and more tools tailored for schooling sessions are planned for upcoming releases.

Improvements

Improvements in drawing tools

  • Introduced stroke pattern and opacity controls to curve drawing.

Improvements in the UI

  • You can now hide any icons you do not need in the toolbar. Right-click an icon to open the context menu and decide what stays on your tack wall.
  • Added an option to display realistic pole diameters within obstacles. For course plan readability the default shows poles as if they were 30 cm thick; toggling the setting reveals their true 10 cm diameter. Automatic measurements stay accurate in either view; see the guide on distances for more details.
  • Improved editing of numerical obstacle dimensions in the object panel, so adjusting rail heights or oxer spreads is now more user friendly.
  • Added the ability to clone multiple selected objects. Select several fences and press d to duplicate the whole set.

Custom class numbers

  • When no Competition type (federation) is set in the Competition parameters, or when you start a fresh design, you can now type in the Class no. manually. Once a Competition type is chosen, the dropdown offers only the classes that match that federation’s rulebook.

New languages

  • Danish is now available in the Competition table. Choose it from the Competition parameters to present course data in the rider’s mother tongue.

Fixes

  • Fixed a tape measure inaccuracy that appeared when you moed the tape forward slowly.
  • Corrected pole height calculations when an obstacle uses custom materials and the final rail is flagged as raised. The last pole now matches the obstacle height, while the preceding rails shorten according to the configured factor. Display these numbers above the fences via the Display options.
