FEI 2026 regulations and more - Release 1788

Major features

Support for FEI 2026 rules

We added a new competition type FEI 2026 that implements the 28th edition of the FEI Jumping Rules. Superceded 2025 rules will remain available under the FEI name.

To update your current FEI designs to the 2026 edition you can use the helper tool from the Competition Parameters. The tool link will be visible for FEI designs and supported articles.

If you find issues or miss something in the ruleset, please let us know - we will fix it.

Improvements

Bias and offset for jumping the obstacles

For fences (verticals, oxers and triple-barre’s) you can now adjust the jumping offset (distance from the fence end) and bias (angle of approaching the obstacle). That feature should be particularily useful for training courses to grade the diffuculty of jumping the obstacles.

To adjust the offset and bias, select an obstacle that is on the course (has the direction arrow visible) and use the sliders in the Object Panel. The position and angle of the arrow will change.

Conversion between competition and training courses

Since the competition and training courses follow different rules for the course setup, a conversion tool was added to allow switching between the two design types. Is is available in the Project menu under Convert to a training/competition course.

If the conversion is not straightforward, there will a dialog window opened with a list of required adjustments. The tool can perform the adjustments automatically.

Fixes

  • Fixed a problem with the user registration screen missing the register button on small phones.
  • Fixed incorrect numbering of obstacles on the PDF printout for training courses.
