It is possible to import designs from the popular PPD application into parkour.design. The design has to be written in VSDX format. Multiple pages in the file will be imported as separate designs.

Please note that the VSDX file is a graphics format while parkour.design is not a strictly graphical program and understands the meaning of the various jumping course elements.

Importing will try to do the best job figuring out how to map the various graphical objects into obstacles, landscape elements and how to determine the track across this objects.

This is a non-trivial task and is done heuristically – the result may be close to the original design but not identical. It will always require manual adaptation of the design in the application. Importing process may also fail.

We kindly request you to report the problems to us using the embedded chat function or sending an email to support@parkour.design. That way we can add new cases to the algorithm and make the import function better.
